Registration

IS THERE A FEE TO REGISTER WITH BIDDERGY.COM?

Registration is free with Biddergy.com

HOW DO REGISTER TO BID?

Simply visit www.biddergy.com and click on the “REGISTER” button located on the red tool bar. Once you have completed the form you will receive a confirmation email usually within minutes to confirm your registration. If for some reason you do not receive an email, feel free to call (866) 260-1611 for assistance.

IS MY PERSONAL INFORMATION PROTECTED?

Yes, Biddergy.com will not trade or sell any of your information. Biddergy employs accepted transmission and storage protocols, including high-grade AES 128 bit encryption, to prevent sensitive information from being disclosed. This means that when you type in sensitive information such as credit card details, it will be automatically converted into codes before being securely sent to us over the Internet.

I FORGOT MY USERNAME AND/OR PASSWORD?

Simply click on the “sign in” button and click “forgot your password, click here” button. Enter your email address and you will receive your information within minutes.

I DON’T OWN A COMPUTER AND DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE ONE, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE IN AN AUCTION?

Bidding

HOW DO I PLACE A BID ON AN ITEM?

Once you have signed in to Biddergy.com simply click on the item that you are interested in placing a bid on. In the bidding section of the item, you will see a box labeled “Your maximum bid”. You may enter your bid here.

WHERE ARE THE ITEMS LOCATED?

Prior to bidding it is important that you have read all the terms and conditions for that item. During our weekly Wednesday Consignment & Recovery auctions, you have 7 days to make payment and pick up your items from the auction date. If the auction is a business liquidation or a specialty auction, in most cases you may only have 1 day to make payment and remove your items. These details can be found in each item that is up for auction by scrolling down the page.

WHAT DOES “YOUR MAXIMUM BID” MEAN?

You can either place the next increment bid amount on an item or you can enter your maximum bid which is the top amount you are willing to pay for an item. It does ensure that you will continue to be the highest bidder at the lowest qualifying bid until another bidder either outbids your maximum bid or establishes a high maximum bid than you have.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY BID WENT THROUGH OR IF I WON AN ITEM?

When you confirm your bid on at item you will be notified at the top of the page if your bid was successful or if you have been outbid. If your bid was unsuccessful, you can submit a higher bid again. If you choose to receive email notifications when registering, you will be emailed each time you bid or have won an item. You may edit these notifications by clicking on the “my account” button and clicking on “account details” then clicking on “change details”.

Payment & Removal

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ITEMS AND WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT DOES BIDDERGY.COM ACCEPT?

All items can be paid for upon picking them up from the location they are sold. Biddergy.com accepts cash, all major credits, and checks up to $500 in value. Please note that there is a 3% discount when paying with cash or money orders unless otherwise noted in the auction terms & conditions. Please note that buyers' premiums may fluctuate from auction to auction.

WHAT IS THE BUYER’S PREMIUM?

A buyer’s premium is a transaction fee added the high bid to be paid by the buyer as part of the auctioneer’s compensation. The buyer’s premium can be found in the terms and conditions section in each item.

DO I HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX?

State sales tax is charged on all transactions unless we have been provided with a state sales tax exemption form. If you are a vehicle dealer you may also provide us with a copy of your valid dealer’s license.

IF I BUY A VEHICLE, BOAT, ORV, OR TRAILER FROM BIDDERGY.COM DO I HAVE TO PAY ADDITIONAL FEES?

The State of Michigan requires Biddergy.com to “broker” all vehicles, boats, orv’s, and trailers sold at auction. This means that Biddergy.com will handle the title/registration transfer and will obtain a license plate for you if desired. Biddergy.com charges a $120 “broker” fee for this service.

DOES BIDDERGY.COM SHIP ITEMS?

Biddergy.com works with several 3rd party firms to offer competitive shipping costs. Contact Biddergy.com prior to bidding on an item to obtain a shipping quote.
